Gratitude This Holiday Season
A special holiday greeting from all of us at Southeastern Psychiatric Associates. We hope you have a wonderful holiday, and we look forward to working with you in the new year!
This Year At TMS
This year at TMS we treated over 75+ incredible patients who overcame their depression through TMS. Some patients continued to take their medications, while others used TMS Therapy to overcome all of their Depression symptoms. With the support of our incredible staff, we have created a phenomenal and safe community here at Southeastern Psychiatric Associates. We provide the space and tools for patients to feel safe and supported through their healing journey. Thank you to all of our patients for reaching out for help. Thank you to all of our doctor referrals for trusting in us, and this incredible treatment.
TMS Therapy For Womens Health
Many women who breastfeed their babies and suffer from Depression seek out a non-drug treatment option. When deciding the best way to take care of yourself, it is important that you understand all of your options. All of the studies conducted thus far indicate that rTMS is safe and well tolerated in women with postpartum depression. TMS Therapy is safe for treating women during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, for the treatment of postpartum depression, and Premenstrual Disorder.
Learn More About TMS Therapy
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a groundbreaking approach to treating Major Depression. TMS has been used in research for over 30 years. Here at Southeastern Psychiatric Associates, we use a protocol called rTMS or Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. TMS is FDA-approved for treating Major Depressive Disorder when medications don’t work. In clinical trials, TMS has been proven to be safe and effective. TMS is well-tolerated, and the effects are usually long lasting. If you have already received TMS therapy, as a preventative measure you can reschedule a TMS consultation, if you are concerned about depression coming back in the upcoming winter season. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. You are never alone, and we are here for you!
